XMS : the gifted CMS
Merges your content
Boosted content management
XMS, based on the MarkLogic technology, meets all the challenges of content management, cross-media publishing and syndication. XMS enables you to use your existing tools to create, supplement (metadata) and aggregate content, and then export it to any publishing system through multichannel outputs. In this process, your content is saved within a single data repository and can be re-used later on demand in any other context.
Extreme XMS flexibility guarantees simplicity and swiftness of new media deployment: your content truly becomes "active".
More than a highly customizable management solution with everything you might expect from a CMS (advanced search, workflow, project management...), XMS is now available with all industry frameworks specified for general and trade press, practical guides and legal publishing.

An "XML First" process
XMS manages your content in XML and multi-DTD format throughout your publishing system (upstream, downstream). This garantees that you can issue a data item that is:
- Up-to-date
- At any time
- To any distribution channel.
XMS enables you to optimize the workflow and adjust your reaction time to your products: from a "Print to Web" process that requires previous hardcopy "disassembly" before data can go on-line, you evolve to an "XML First" process that priviledges your content regardless of the constraints imposed by the distribution medium.

Keep your trade processes
XMS includes a built-in editor that can be preset to enable you to create and change your content. In addition, you can connect your usual tools to keep your existing processes throughout the use of "plug-ins" for the major commercial tools (non-exhaustive list):
- Upstream (drafting, design)
- • Adobe InDesign
- • Adobe FrameMaker
- • Open Office Document
- • Adobe Bridge (Photoshop), for image management and filing
Downstream (semi-automatic or automatic layout, publishing)- • Adobe InDesign
- • Adobe FrameMaker
- • Web sites (specific feeding for Drupal, Joomla, etc.)
- • Specific outputs (ePub, WebApps, ...)
